If you plan on using the app to take payments, you have to do the math, to figure out how much this company takes. If not, you'll get screwed. it would be great if they just automatically added the 3.5% on keyed in transactions, and the 2.75% on in person transactions. And if they haven't thought of that until after reading this then it sure would be nice to get 3.5% of the annual transactions they take from other small businesses. I'm not sure what happened with this latest update, but I hate it. I've been using the app for years, and I could always find everything I needed easily. Now, I can't even find my transactions and no longer see how to sync immediately with my bank accounts. On the shortcuts, QB banking, which I don't even use or want, replaced the transactions shortcut I used daily! I can't change or reorder the quick links or shortcuts to add transactions back. Mileage tracker stopped working about a month ago. Like many others, I have been waiting for a fix. I use my car daily for work and I need this function to work! It's saying that the location settings need to be changed but I have gone through every single setting to no avail. I know it's not on my end. QuickBooks this is on you! My accountant is also frustrated since my data has not been accurate for 2 months - we have a monthly check up. This app is constantly having problems when I need to write or edit estimates, invoices & other essential needs. When I call, I just get apologies and to do everything from the website. That's not a solution. It defeats the purpose of having the app. When it DOES work, it's very convenient. Please fix your app NOW! It's costing me MONEY! It does the basics and would be nice to use, but it doesn't match the functionality of the website. For example- I cannot select Direct Debit as the payment method when adding an invoice. My customers are all repeat customers and pay by Direct Debit so this means I cannot add these invoices on the road. I also have problems adding expenses (can't select a supplier), so again can't add these on the road. If I have to wait until I'm back in the office to do half the items its all a bit pointless. - Intuit QuickBooks for Business 2★
This new app is so bad. There's no way to view all of the unpaid invoices. You either have to view the overdue ones or the not due yet or All in order to see them. Then you gotta hunt in all. What about everything unpaid? AND.... there's no way to change the sort order. I care most about what's unpaid, not those that are paid when I'm looking in the invoices section. I find it very difficult to add transactions and attach documents to said transactions. Example: I issued a reimbursement check to a member. I knew she was in our list of vendors because multiple events for us each year so I often am giving her reimbursements. Her name did not pull up on the list of vendors in the app but when I tried to add her name I got an error because she was already a vendor. Been using this app for three and a half years and it works minimally well. But it often loses company information and I have to resync that takes forever. It has alot less ability than using the browser version. All in all I find myself using the browser when using mobile and it isn't anywhere close to being optimized for mobile and it's still easier to use. I struggle with this app because it's almost like I'm using a paper-based system! Sometimes the team gets the UI correct, and that's great, but it usually isn't that way. Examples: You can't sort customers and find the one with the highest balance. Secondly, hyperlinking data isn't ubiquitous. (Customer details -> activities list -> click on an invoice...nothing!) Can't add comments on customer in app. An app on smartphone which takes calls from customers...and I can't add comments?! - Zoho Books - Accounting App 2★
Not user friendly. Customer service seems helpful, but also clueless about how clunky the software is. None of the apps talk with each other automatically. You have to tediously integrate them (doesn't always work), then you have to enter & re-enter info that was entered in one app, but was erased when migrated to a diff. app. Zoho is supposed to save time but I've spent hours in useless sessions with help desk to end up spending more hours figuring it out on my own. For someone translating from wave to Zoho books, I'd don't know maybe to blame the not so straightforward interface, or the possibility of a faulty transitioning. After following every Instruction on moving my data, still find many useful contacts missing; even worse is the recording payments section, it keeps bringing records of old and already made payments to add to the new I'm intending to record. This is a could based application but when i asked about an error they told me to wait 4 to 5 working days. No one has contacted me yet. I dont know why zoho customer support is so inefficient. Be careful about zoho support. You won't find any. They have only one line ober toll free number & that is "We are escalting this issue with our technical team and they will call you within 3 to 5 days." I have numerous products in my inventory, it's not possible to remember the exact name of each of them. While adding items in either estimates or invoices or POs its not possible to search with a string that I remember. The list should populate the relevant items even if I type any part of the name. Ran into a problem on Samsung Tab S7. On starting, two icons on top right corner quickly flashes for about a minute. Then it crashes. The ease of use is not what my team and I expected. Customer service wasn't able to resolve an issue regarding integration of accounts. uninstalled the Android app. missing so many options compared to website or IOS app. when using web based on the phone it automatically opens the app and does not let me continue in the browser. Really hard work. Nothing is clear, nothing is explained to you when you get the app. Even adding a receipt as an expense takes ages, it's a nightmare when you have loads to do in one day. Also, the 6 month free trial period I was given with my business credit card doesn't work and they've charged me (ironically, have to spend ages in the app figuring out how to reconcile these transactions given how difficult the app is to use) - Xero Accounting for business 2★
as a new business wanting to get started with digital accounting I chose the simple mobile version. once I reached the maximum allowance for invoices created, only 10 per month 😥, I decided to upgrade....YOU CAN'T, you have to cancel the subscription and wait a month before you can renew through Xero. client paid into stripe account. as per usual we wasted close to 120hrs and staff trying to resolve how stripe was there and if xero can restore my account back. The mild english speaking xero attendant was less than helpful but did email me to do it myself and said the affiliate "isnt her business to deal with and toncontact stripe directly" I asked her if she has contacted stripe on behalf of other customers, she said No I said no wouldnt have because there is no contact available ANYWHERE!!! - Xero Accounting for business 2★

Pretty basic functionality and years behind expense capture solutions like Concur. No OCR. No able to set defaults for receipt data entry. Cant see attachments on the phone app when looking at bank transactions. Phone receipt images fail to save on the transaction for last 6 weeks when viewed via the Web app in the web software and its taking forever to fix this problem (non compliant with ato record keeping). Incomplete app for this expensive price. No intimation of trial period, no sales or purchase returns, neither we create credit note or Debit note, no desktop login (no web login neither desktop app) available. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THEY DON'T HAVE GST REPORTS FOR FILING. If the price is included with desktop version along with above missing features, would be reasonable to pay. Accounts dont seem to show up on other types of Category of accounts, Im thinking this is a flaw. Like its not possible to do other types of transaction with the same something like a lender. I want to create a lender, have him give me cash then I owe him interest on that cash, and make payments on interest and principal, I could imagine there would be other problems because of lack of transferability of Accounts/Entity. - Accounting Bookkeeping 2★
The experience was quite good as i usually try to find an alternate apps but the only issue I find in this is there should be an option to import Bank statement as there are 200-300 monthly Bank entries which we have to feed manually. Request you to insert only this feature then I can assure that your app will be the best in accounting being a CA I can say that in mobile interface till now i haven't find any app better then this - Accounting Bookkeeping 2★
Overall the app is amazing, but there's one simple feature that needs to be added, almost all other competitors have it . We should be able to add DESCRIPTIONS to fixed amount invoices ( Without Line of product) and allow preview of such invoices. I contacted your response team on WhatsApp but I wasn't happy with the replies, meanwhile this an important feature yet missing. No mention of a trial period, just tells you almost a month in (after putting in every single transaction) that your trial will expire in x amount of days. Wouldnt have minded if there was prior warning. Theres better apps out there for this
