- Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
The subscription tracking is not accurate. If you are like me, you downloaded this because of the millions of ads that say it will help you locate and cancel your subscriptions. it showed me 5 subscriptions. I am aware of at least 4 that it didn't show me. So not useful in finding all my subscriptions at all. I did not attempt to use the app to cancel anything. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
It's not quite as easy as it shows on the commercials. The part at the beginning where you choose how much you think is fair to pay for it to get your free 7 day trail gives you the option to do $0 then immediately forces you to pay $7 minimum. That's a psychological tactic used in finance and other industries to get as much extra money from good hearted people as possible. I'm tech savvy and still it did nothing for me after I linked up. I canceled, unlinked, deleted my account, uninstall. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
I've used Rocket Money for years. I'm tired of constantly fighting the app. It automatically adjusts the due dates on reoccurring bills instead of the dates I set it as. My rent is due on the first of every month, not the fourth. I have a bill that comes out of my account every Saturday, not the following Monday. I set the date the bill is supposed to come out on and I expect it to stay on the date not changed to a date that would incur late fees. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
it was ok until I tried to use the app. all of sudden they want to 2 factor authenticate me. Never has that happen before and they have the wrong phone number. they have my old number that I never given them. Very fishy smelling to me. And, when I tried to get on the website they blocked me and said I had to use the app ! I just paid for an upgrade too. I don't think I'm going to continue there are too many similar companies that won't give me these problems just to do business with them. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
It's a good budgeting app, but I really wanted to cancel my myriad of subscriptions that are scattered. this app completely misses the mark with that. out of my at least 10 reoccurring subscriptions, it found only 1 of them, which was Amazon Prime. its the only one I planned to keep ironically. wish I never got involved since I was really hoping for something, decided to trust the app, just for a complete and utter disappointment. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
I was already pretty aware of my finances, but I decided to give Rocket Money a try. I didn't realize, or remember until I got charged a subscription fee, that I'd have to pay for this. I didn't like how the link to my financial institution had to be fixed almost every time I logged in. And I hoped for an easier to see/follow budget tracker. Perhaps this works well for others, but it didn't for me. When I cancelled my account the AI bot easily helped me get a refund for the subscription. - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
if you don't pay for the full subscription service it will stop tracking reoccurring bills. My Crunchyroll sub is through Google and Rocket Money thinks it is inactive and can't find it. Similarly rent, and other bills have to get marked manually as paid. This app also assumes all bills will be the same amount as the last, like utilities as power and gas. I don't know if there are better apps but this one just wants your money to function - Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets 2★
The look and feel is nice, very intuitive. Lots of nice features like subscription tracking and useful advice. However, accounts aren't updated regularly and you have to request they be updated individually. It's not automatic or immediate. So you end working with older data. To me, that negates the whole experience. I'm not talking about a transaction or two. It regularly out of date for days and weeks. Definitely not worth the fee they charge. - SubX - Subscription Manager 2★
Too confusing and overwhelming. - SubX - Subscription Manager 2★
Looks nice, but nowhere on the app's listing did It say you can only have 4 subscriptions added without getting the paid version. Dissapointing to find out mid set-up - SubX - Subscription Manager 2★
I can't figure it out - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
I'll grant 2 ✨. Assuming it works and it pleasantly surprises me, maybe I'd rate it much higher. If by some miracle I've had a chance to try it out for a week or two then next time I'm asked for feedback I'll give a much more accurate review. - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
$19.99 per month, and you get prompted to upgrade. If you dont connect your bank account, they expect you to provide the info for your subscriptions. If I knew what all I have, I wouldn't be asking for assistance w/canceling them. - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
so we have to pay for a subscription to cancel subscriptions. the idea seems kinda cool, but it costs money to do anything, I don't even know if it works. I'm passing on this app, I'm only leaving this review because 5 seconds after I opened the app you asked me to review before I even got to look at it. so here you go. - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
Funny! Cancel subscription app that puts a full screen subscribe now in front of you before even getting to try it. Appears subscriptions you have need to be added manually so it's not really helpful finding existing forgotten subscriptions. Not seeing the usefulness with this app. - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
They showed me their cool app and then the "rate us" box popped up, I dismissed it and the next page was telling me I needed to SUBSCRIBE to the app I got to get rid of subscriptions. And uninstall. I don't care if its helpful or not. - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
far too much functionality behind a paid subscription - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
Don't like that this app reveals so much personal information for reviews. - Cancel Subscriptions - Subee 2★
I don't know yet. Only just downloaded it - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
Hugely disappointing. I thought the whole point was that they would cancel subscriptions for you, but they merely provide instructions on how to do so. In some cases, simply bringing up a Google search "how to cancel x". In return, they want direct access to your bank account (which was how I thought they'd be able to cancel things on your behalf) and a trove of personal banking info - which I would have been happy providing if they actually provided me the convenience of easily unsubscribing. - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
The app doesn't list every one if you subscriptions. I'll get a pop up telling me I have a payment coming up, but it doesn't go into detail about what that payment is for. Also, you can't cancel subscriptions from the app. I was expecting this to be Rocket Money but free; I was disappointed. The only reason I didn't give this one star is the support team is quick to answer and very helpful. - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
This app is awful! I spent hours filling in all the information because it can't bother to go and look. If I have forgotten subscriptions where I signed up for a free trial, how on Earth are they going to cancel them? I would not bother with this ridiculous app; you would be sadly disappointed and paying money for it every month - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
I work at a grocery store so I shop there every day sometimes twice a day - drink when I get there and food on break. Every transaction from the last 4+ months shows up as a potential subscription and I have to manually go through ALL of them and mark that it's not a subscription. Please make a function to make this easier. - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
Seems amazing but I do not use Plaid, and the app requires you to log into and give them access to your banks' and credit cards' activity. Would be great if this could be done via simply providing the credit card number, which is believe it or not less intrusive than access to your banking statements. - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
In addition to not actually being able to cancel your subscriptions using the app, it keeps bumping subscriptions off the list and then "finding" them as new subscriptions multiple times a day, so the notifications are incessant. If you're trying to weed through your subscriptions, don't use this app. - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
It's fine if you only have simple or few subscriptions. I have a phone bill ever 3 months, but the options are finite and don't include this. I have multiple streaming service subscriptions and the app can't label them. It's not the worst but definitely not the best. Would not recommend - Subscription Stopper & Manager 2★
Really read the agreement first. I'd suggest declining. They sell your data to ad companies far more than they should when this service is something you can do for free. I'd rather just pay for a convenience fee for a service like this than have my data sold off to who knows
