I tried to use this app to help me plan my daughter's birthday party and it only allows you 20 guests to be added to the invite list before you have to pay for premium to add more. Who only invites 20 people to a party?! The checklist might be helpful to some but you have to input everything you need manually also instead of selecting options from a list so if you forget something it's still on you. - Event Planner: Birthday, Party 2★

There are a lot of bugs that need fixing. Information such as coupon codes, even though created, don't show up on the list. They work but you have to remember what they are. Event dates show up incorrectly on one screen. And when I try to rank on Google it crashes. And if I switch to another app, when I come back the page I was working on is black. When it works, it's fine. When it doesn't, it's maddening! There are known issues (complaints on forums like Reddit) with users not being able to complete registrations on free events (it will say "Payment Declined" when payments aren't necessary). Lots of bugs (across all platforms and browsers!). Horrible and INEXCUSABLE for a company whose annual revenue in 2024 was approximately $325.1 million (USD). Fix the bugs and test it for quality assurance after major upgrades. - Eventbrite App 2★
when changing the font size on your phone and returning to the app, or when reading the terms of service, the app goes back to the home page and you lose your progress for filled out fields, and if you were in the middle of buying tickets, it still thinks you're in that process and you'll have to wait for the countdown timer in the background that's holding those seats while you would normally be able to continue filling out the fields, but it doesn't realize it already kicked you out. - Eventbrite App 2★
So the App itself is clean and works well, but if you have the app on your phone and go to the website, it automatically opens the app and forces you to use it. That would be OK, except that you are explicitly blocked from purchasing tickets for any online event in the app, thereby making it 100% impossible to buy tickets for them on your phone. If this app worked reliably, this would be a 5-star review. It's nearly impossible for me to actually use the mobile app to register for events or to use from my device to click from an event email. I love being able to browse events & bookmark organizers, but the app usually crashes before I can complete the action. Hopefully, this will be fixed. LOVE Eventbrite, hate their app. The website is easier to use, and if you create a profile and follow events and organizers you're interested in, you'll get emails where you can click links to the website. The problem with the app is that every time you sort events, if you look at individual events it takes you right back to the top of the list and you have to keep scrolling down to find the best options. It's tedious and makes it hard to sort through events easily. They really should fix this. - Eventbrite App 2★
Eventbrite is a very useful app in theory, but it's search function is horrific! I'll do a search for NYC events and will get stuff upstate, NJ, and PA and sometimes even TN! Additionally, I can search for the exact name of a group and its events won't come up. The level of disfunction (and the fact that Eventbrite hasn't done anything about it after all these years) never ceases to amaze me! I am forced to use this app as it is the most common place events are posted. Would be drastically improved with 2 minor quality of life fixes: 1. When I click through to look at event details, SAVE MY PLACE when I go back instead of starting at the top of the list. So fustrating to scroll through hundreds of events to pick up where I left off. 2. Let me filter out events/organizers I don't want to see, or put them at the bottom of the list. Love Eventbrite, but its app sucks. I can't search for groups (by name or keyword), only for events... And the setting to search for events within my geographic area doesn't work. (I set it on my city, it still shows events from everywhere... I go back and check and sure enough my city is still selected). Needs substantial Improvement Once it is opened, it seems to work ok. However there is no icon for it so you need to keep it open at all times,otherwise you can't access it, unless you go back to the play store which then tells you it is already installed. Horrible. Wants a million permissions, cycles a bunch of errors and takes forever to load. Not confident I will get it working. Cleared cache and storage, rebooted and reinstalled app. That didn't work. What did work was just stopping the app, clearing storage and cache, and restarting. The notification system is near useless. I get what I assume is a push notification about a new announcement, so I follow it... And there's no new announcements. Continually says there's an update, but when pressing the Yes button, it doesn't update. No update listed in the app store. Slow transitions in the app between main schedule and individual sessions. After Favouriting a session, user is taken to the top of the day's schedule, instead of where they were in the list of sessions, resulting in excessive scrolling to find the next time block of sessions. 2025 update: still says there's an update waiting. - The Event App by EventsAir 2★

Live questions may or may not work depending on sacrifices to the internet gods. It lacks the ability to seamlessly update an event without giving you a big update button after which, you end up with button disappointment as it's "updated" the app to tell you an event started. this app asks for a ridiculous amount of permissions, audio recording, photos, videos, call etc. it will not accept the even code, despite checking with the organiser that it is correct. overall a very underwhelming experience. - The Event App by EventsAir 2★
Long latency! My guess is that the app updates on the server every time you click a button. Why not store the data on the app and just update occasionally?
