- Simple Time Tracker 2★
I need to add a time slot for tracking how long it takes to get used to using this app. UX is wildly different from anything I've used before. editing a punch is very strange and cumbersome, options I don't need and graphics that are confusing are abundant. graphs and calendars are all non standard designs, 24 hour time only, backwards lists, and no calendar view, and more issues. This Simple Time Tracker is not simple, it's someone's art piece, and needs UX overhaul. - Simple Time Tracker 2★
Cannot run from watch alone unless it's connecting to phone that turns the watch app useless and a waste disappointedly - Simple Time Tracker 2★
It doesn't have a way to manually enter my start and stop time....you have to activate it at the beginning of your shift and have a timer running all day... All I want is to update my hours at the end of my shift so I can compare it to my pay stubs...I don't need a "timer" just a very basic notation for my hours - Simple Time Tracker 2★
This app needs to sync to my Google calendar for me to use it. I'm not going to redundantly put events in both. How would that work? - have a button I can press saying I just completed the current/most recent calendar event - have a button for the latest event I didn't confirm yet - maybe add a time-trackee calendar to my gCalendar that places small events for when I pressed the "complete" button - Simple Time Tracker 2★
Can't use for my situation. I like the color coding and how it looks/tracks, but as far as I have been able to figure out, there is no way to sync the app over multiple devices. I need to be able to track time on either of 2 devices for one person - Simple Time Tracker 2★
The pomodoro feature doesn't make noise to remind me when it's time for a break or when it's time to focus. It's just an on screen timer. I have notifications on and I allowed access to alarms, but it doesn't do anything. - Simple Time Tracker 2★
So old looking. You can create categories but can't assign them to existing activities. When creating a new activity, you have to choose between a category, icon, color, or goal instead of being able to use all four for each activity (optional of course). Also instead of play and stop, there are no icons for when the activity is being tracked. There is a timer but easy to miss it. And while i definitely need it, i still want a distinguished (but not giant or ugly) play, pause, and stop buttons. - Simple Time Tracker 2★
Editing a record to adjust the start and end time results in the start time defaulting to noon and cannot be chabged, thereby defeating the purpose of the app - accurately tracking time. - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
Laggy and unintuitive. I really love the web version of toggl, and I was willing to be patient while they worked out some initial bugs with the Android app overhaul, but it's still nearly unusable. In a pinch, if I'm patient, it gets the job done (most of the time... Sometimes it crashes) but I avoid it in favor of the web UI whenever possible. - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
Destroyed my tracked times. One of my times didn't attach to a project. While looking in the calendar for what one, I accidently dragged a different one. No problem, right? Just hit cancel? WRONG. It saved a completely random time frame. I don't know the original time, so I can't fix it. Now, over trying to label 10 minutes, my time is completely inaccurate. - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
Despite using it for several months now, I still struggle with the GUI, which is chaotic and confusing. I only need simple things like logging an activity and changing its start or end whenever I forget. It is quite hard to find and do - the time entry is very cumbersome. I also find adding past entries very hard. I would expect to do it through the calendar, but this isn't possible. Also, reports only work for projects, so I end up having to duplicate activities as projects. - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
Okay time tracking app, but confusing interface (it's hard to get a simple overview). Requires online sign in. Using a Google account for sign in they will ask for your address among other things, which should be no go in the EU (since there is absolutely no reason to ask for an address for a time tracking app). you can use a simple email address too, but I would highly suggest to use a dedicated one. Forces a paid premium subscription to access basic data export and sharing. - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
Does not work in conjunction with desktop app. If you're using the desktop app then don't use this at the same time as they'll get badly out of sync and muck up time tracking. As an example, if you start recording a meeting on your phone but then stop it when you get back to your desktop then the app will still keep the meeting running until you stop it on the app too - which means a 20 minute meeting can be recorded as lasting hours. - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
I like the webapp. But the android app often is unable to sync which is quite annoying. I don't get it why that's so often an issue on mobile and never on the web. If I had to guess, you syncing copies of the database to enable offline mode on mobile. But that's the wrong approach, as long as there is an internet connection all actions should be calculated on server. Only when there is no connection those actions should be stored to be send to the server later. It's a wild guess tbh, still sucks - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
Frustrating app to use. I'm not sure why UI optimization seems hard to find with time tracking apps. The app does not allow you to log activity for dates further in the past ('Cannot exceed 999 hours'), and there is no way I've found to simply copy and paste activity to avoid having to tediously enter in all details manually when attempting to log multiple days. You cannot copy-paste entries. Perhaps I've missed this, and will change my rating accordingly, but if it's present it is not obvious. - Toggl Track - Time Tracking 2★
Several days into using the mobile app, I can say it is not as easy to use as it seems. Additionally, editing the time entries is complicated and time consuming, and the app sometimes modified without my asking the format of several entries, or grouped them in ways I had not requested. I need to record my work time as faithfully as possible, and sadly this app did not help me there. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
It wasn't very intuitive and didn't meet my needs. I gave it a week and then it wanted me to buy the pro version, which I didn't see as necessary. I'm self-employed and a simple pad and paper is readily available. Oh well, I think this app has potential, but wasn't immediately easy to use, instructions were sparse, and you have to pay for the actual useful version after a week. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
Although I have the paid pro version, the app keeps kicking me out when I want to export or sync my data... Tells me to upgrade to the pro version 🤔 Then I need to uninstall and reinstall the app... loosing the data that failed to sync. This has happened about 5 times now and getting really annoying. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
it's a decent tracking app not for me. im not going to use this app because i work between 830pm-6am. the app splits up the shift into two days, and you can't change it. so i have 3hrs 29min on one day and 6hrs and 31min the next. which is very annoying on top you have to pay for it. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
I pay for this application, because need export to excel. This function is very disappointed. Can't export comment's. Often gets error. Etc. Please finish this part of your application. Free version is very good. I'm editing to add a public response. Do it! There is no option to export comments. There is only START, END, WORKING TIME, BREAK, TASK, EARNINGS, TAGS. When I try to export to google drive. I get "Sorry!Drive has sopped unexpectedly..." Try again, and success. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
You pay a low price but you're not buying the program platform independent. You can pay a minimum 15 euros extra once you want to use it on windows! Note; I didn't see anything stating that the cross platform sync would require a second purchase, I'd expect to buy the product independent of the platforms. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
You will eventually lose your data because of the way the app is designed, even with backups turned on something will fail, and you'll learn that you should always just use plain text files that you control and own. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
I purchased the pro version but it doesn't sync to my devices and keeps asking me to buy it. Its a great app other then a few minor problems. - WorkingHours Time Tracker 2★
Premium required for way too basic things like start/stop from notification or widget. There are better alternatives (e.g. simple time tracker). - Time Clock: Easy Tracker 2★
it's ok for basic hour log tracking, unless you pay for service, it's very limited features. doesn't figure in taxes or deductions from your pay unless that's in the paid service. kinda annoying with always wanting to track you but if you rely on wifi for service, it will always ask to track you. also entering in client info or updating the entry, it will push for you to subscribe. so it's ok for basic tracking but not much else to encourage me to pay to use it anymore. - Time Clock: Easy Tracker 2★
At first I was so excited about this app - sleek I interface, easy to use, and I love the ability to clock in and out on the fly for easy reporting. After 1 full day of use, I'm getting a pop-up warning about subscribing to continue my use. I didn't read the other reviews noting this. I would pay a one-time fee because I like the app but not willing to pay $3 per month for it. So disappointed!! Uninstalling. - Time Clock: Easy Tracker 2★
Used to like using this app to track my time, not the case anymore. When I first started using it, every few days they would ask if I wanted to upgrade my subscription, which I totally get. I'm using your product for free, every few days is acceptable. Now it asks about upgrading every single day. I don't need the upgrade, take a hint. If you go back to occasionally asking I'll gladly change my rating. Until then I think it's time to find a new app to use - Time Clock: Easy Tracker 2★
--UPDATE!!! This app used to be great, but the dev decided to make it RIDDLED WITH ADS! The ads make the app almost unuseable. It went from a solid 4 or 5 star app, to maybe a 1 or two. His pricing model is astronomical as well! I would recommend looking somewhere else for a cheaper or less intrusive experience. I will problably unpack his apk and remove his ad coding; I might even reupload it for free for everyone :) - Time Clock: Easy Tracker 2★
App has been working great for months. Then at the end of December, I went to get my time card and there were no entries. They had all just been erased. I don't have a backup so I was literally at a loss as to my time. It is still deleting my entries, so I am going to something else. I can see where this issue has been reported for months, but obviously not fixed. Would give it one star, but it did work really great for a long time. - Time Clock: Easy Tracker 2★
The math is wrong. It shows my net income to be higher than it is. I rechecked the net income by hand and in Excel with the exported data. Excel and my by hand calculations did not match the number provided in the app. The total was off by a subjectively marginal amount over ~$50 for the past 2 months. But it's still very frustrating since all the income amounts displayed are wrong. The interface is very user-friendly and easy to learn. But having to check the numbers in Excel is an extra step.
