I gave this app only 2 stars because, even though the app functions well, it tried to bill me through the Google play store almost 2 weeks early. That has never happened before with any app. Also, it makes other apps like my Google drive not function efficiently. I eventually had to uninstall it. This is in response to your reply to my review: When I try to open a document or download, even share a file on my Google Drive, Adobe Acrobat Reader opens instead. The new update no longer allows you to send multiple files at the same time. It consistently freezes the app when you try to sign the form. You have to shut the computer multiple times to get it to sign properly. I would recommend trying it yourself. I am only getting 2 options when selecting the "three dots" (also known as option selection) I'm seeing remove from recent and delete. No option to share. - Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF 2★
It's just annoying that phones now a days being the most used for things like this don't have this kind of thing already installed and for free or less then $20 a month when you don't really use it much. Mediocre at best. Doesn't let me scroll through a document while my keyboard is out. Whenever I input something into a FILLABLE PDF, it either deletes it or freezes. The only thing I can use it for is converting documents into a PDF, or vice versa...that's it. So basically useless. I use this app for my classes just to go over and save information. Has worked great and good for when I need to fill out work documents. I love i can have all my work and school things in one place and also open them across my devices. I use it on my phone, tablet, and laptop. So the fact that it has been crashing constantly on both my phone and tablet the past week is very aggravating. The app won't stay open more than a couple seconds. Used to be a great app, I only needed the free features. Now, I can't even get it to open a pdf because every time I try it pulls up the "upgrade for stupid expensive price" and when I hit cancel it brings me to a screen of recent pdfs that doesn't include the one I tried to open. Was a great app, now almost useless. I use this daily for work. I need it so I can create invoices, have customers sign them, and then send them off as bills. However, the text boxes jump all over the screen if I do anything other than type, once I am done editing a text box, it automatically resizes and changes fonts, worst of all, the words at the end of the line consistently get cut short if a text box is more than a few lines long, which has caused many complaints by customers. This latest upgrade screwed up all the good things I liked about the app. I use large PDF files. Bookmarks were once easy to set up and use; now they require navigating with tapping on the screen several times just to set them up or to find them. Entirely too confusing and unnecessary. Even getting to the file browsing system section is now more difficult than it should be. One misstep and the screen enlarges and you got to figure out how to get back. I use it to read music lyrics on stage and can't be spending a lot of time navigating a crappy app between songs. It seems Adobe could not leave well enough alone. - PDF Editor – Edit Everything! 2★
Two stars because I was technically able to edit a pdf with it, but this might be the most dysfunctional app I've used in a while. Every time I want to add a line of text, I have to press like three buttons. I did a dozen signatures that didn't get added because I guess they were too big to display. And I have to specifically enable both of them *again* before exporting because otherwise it exports the blank document. I hated using this. Not user friendly IMO. Still cannot figure out how to erase/delete existing images, without covering the image with the white pen (almost like white out) and then inserting the new photo over the white covered image. Im hoping and assuming there is a way to just delete the image, but need guidence. Also takes too long to load a new document for editing. I don't do a lot of PDF editing. So it's my first time trying this free app to edit my cv on my phone. It was a horror trying to use the app to edit text. Not user-friendly, options were very limited and it was hard to navigate around its menus. While the app uploaded my 3-page cv, the last page was blank (it lost all the text). Once done editing, they only allowed to download the copy once. Couldn't use much with the app except if you upgrade to pro version for something like $4.95/wk! - PDF Editor – Edit Everything! 2★
A true honest critic: It's NOT a free pdf editor. You need to sign in just to edit the pdf and you need to subscribe to save the edited pdf. - It only provides a narrow text box (2-3 lines) during text editing on top of the screen keyboard. - Zooming in while dragging the page during text editing is not a pleasant experience. Got it to edit pdf text. Screwed up the layout every single time I uploaded my file, with or without changing the fonts. Somehow other programs get that part right. Well I tried giving this app another shot, constant pop ups asking if I want to do this or that when all I needed was to add a line of text to a blank spot on a form, it shouldnt be that difficult, unfortunately youve made this overly complicated and added way too many features. the fill & tool is completely unusable. when you fill out a PDF the first thing you want to do is be able to put a text in a spot. not highlight text, not at a picture, not draw all over the thing. you want to put a text in a place with a keyboard. it's useable but if you're not real web smart, web savvy, and know how to distinguish fake, potentially harmful ads from legitimate "Updates" you might want to look elsewhere. Every single time it opens now there's a "WARNING", "something's out of date, can't read the file, you're out of date, your subscription has ended, etc.." Unless you know to let it time out before you can close the ad, I'm guessing that's a lot of wasted time clicking on BS that redirects you to who knows where. - PDF Reader - PDF Editor 2★

Decent viewer that has nice scrolling and easy and fast loading, but after a few uses it bombards you with ads. I just got punished with a 30 second ad for Match Royal for loading the wrong PDF. When I clicked back to change it, it auto opened the ad. No way to skip it except to close the app entirely. Too bad, I really liked it at first. Not too good. Well, it works, but has its flaws. First, sometimes texts can't be edited. I don't know what's wrong. Second, only by editing, changing texts, sometimes even deleting texts, no matter what, the file size grows significantly. My 2mb pdf grows to 6,8mb, and i haven't finished editing yet! How come? The app is ok. Slowed down forced to watch annoying ads with clickbait buttons. Also ads not responding to the skip button. Please add a paid option to get rid of ads. Having all folders on the device sorted alphabetically is a pain in the behind. I'm used to traverse the folder structure and then to not be able to find the Documents folder is just really really bad. I didn't find it because there are 20-ish other folders named Documents and they where all presented at the same time. This is just Not the way to do it. Might be not confidential. It is strange. When the connection is poor, the sign "processing" is appearing. I'm not sure, but it looks like they are uploading our files to their servers. At 5G on high speed, you can't notice this sign, because it is fast. Update: The app is awesome, but the subscription part is worse. I use it often to combine different layers in flat copy. Bloated app that is one of the biggest users of internal storage on my phone, perhaps due to all the premium features I can't use and don't want or maybe due to bad coding. UI is nice, but even basic tasks like highlighting don't work, with it being difficult to highlight precisely. Also still using old Android APIs so permissions can't be managed properly. Used to have good dark mode years ago, now if you change background color the pictures also get disrupted and so the mode is almost useless! The search function is good as it displays a list of the results. I like the zoom function too. I didn't find a way to remove the large annoying toolbar, it disappears not fast enough when reading and the document doesn't go fully full screen as there is a black bar instead of wrapping around the camera cutout, and also black bars top and bottom. - Foxit PDF Editor 2★
I didn't survive long enough to see this finish loading. Sadly, I fear few will. I love and use foxit in windows, I'm even on their mailing list. Either this tries to do way too much for an average mobile device or it's simply poorly coded. If there's a way to make this not crawwl upon startup (reader mode) I'll install and try it again because it least isn't Acrobat (which is how I installed this to begin with). - Foxit PDF Editor 2★
I'll echo others regarding the new update, it's troublesome enough to cause me to want to delete the app and forget about it. I've used it for years, the free and paid versions. This one is too busy but my main problem is when I type numbers in a date field the numbers don't all show you what I choose. For example, 2021 shows as 2222. It performs the basic function of viewing a pdf file just fine (as do dozens, if not hundreds of other apps), however with fill-in pdf's it will only allow you to edit and save the entered info once. Any subsequent attempts at saving info to your computer are futile. It will save changes within the app and appear as "Recent" files, but it can not be saved to folders on your computer.
