This app was by far the best one that I've came across for actually making a decent resume. Good templates and the finished product is wonderful. I could even download it to my phone, for no extra charge. but everytime I go to upload it onto an application, on an employers website, it will not work. It shows that the file is there, but it will not let me click on it to finish the upload process. Also, once downloaded onto my phone, there is no way to go in and edit. unless you go back on the app. - Resume - Intelligent CV maker 2★
I have given this app a 2 star rating because whilst the CV side of it is fairly good, I had a terrible experience with the covering letter function. I spent almost an hour writing my covering letter, editing it, and making sure it was perfect. Right as I was at the end, my tablet changed from portrait to landscape, whichade the app reset to the home page, losing all my hard work. Not impressed. - Resume - Intelligent CV maker 2★
It says it's FREE.. and there isn't even a way to unsubscribe from the charges.. I was charged $2.90 to email/download my resume... then, I was charged $24 and some change when I couldn't unsubscribe!!! I have emailed and got NO REPLY!! Watch out for the ads. I thought I used this app to make my resume and when I got done it wanted money to download. I noticed in my address bar I was on rocket resume and didn't realize. Every time I switch screens and come back to the app it reloads and plays adverts every time and any info I've entered is lost. Maybe look into fixing that. Worked well initially but now when I try and use certain templates none of the information from my CV is on the template. Can only use basic templates not the modern ones. Will no longer be using the app due to this issue. Update/response: template 12, and then 24-42 are unusable. Happy to send a photo example if you provide an email address. I am not able to toggle and rearrange "Major Achievements and Awards" section which I created. Previously, it had two arrows at every award section to toggle easily, but now the arrows are not displayed. I have also dropped a mail regarding the issue. Please help me regarding this. I'll give it two stars because it could be good. Why have the app link to indeed? It doesn't import my experience. Nor does the app ask to upload an existing resume to import relevant information, or scan said existing resume for marketable skills. This app would be a five star for sure if it saved me the time of copying and pasting over a decade of relevant work experience. The list menu is clean, comprehensive, and easy to use. However, I greatly dislike spending hours of time writing, reviewing, and editing what I have just to select "View CV" and see that massive portions of what I saved is suddenly and inexplicably missing, with no option to recover/redo. I made my resume which went fairly well, theres a few different templates to chose from. When I went to go print the resume off I accidentally closed the printing window and now its said I used my one free one and have to pay $2.49 to unlock unlimited prints. One free resume template! All other templates require a monthly/yearly payment. This app was a waste of my time and misleading. There are free resume apps that rely on ads instead of in-app purchases or subscriptions that i will be using instead. There is a nice selection of templates, to purchase, that look professional. The fact that they charge $7 for something you can make on google docs in ten minutes, is terrible. They claim this app is "free", when not paying gets you a two bullet resume. It's not the fact that you have to pay, it's the fact that it's overpriced garbage. I'm surprised they have a 4.7 rating.
