Not a fan so far. The device used to get photos with this app wasn't created to work universally with all phones so the light on my Pixel sits on the outside instead illuminating my teeth as it's supposed to. Therefore, I keep getting the scans rejected. Not happy, they should warn you ahead of time that you need an iPhone to make this work well. - DentalMonitoring 2★
This app has a pattern of very terrible rollouts. From improperly rejecting scans (customer service validated were fine) to unexpectedly requiring an adapter (no warning and no way to scan), this app is wasting a ton of my time and prolonging the treatment plan. I really hope orthodontists hold this company accountable for their terrible app. I shudder to think how much they have to pay for this... - DentalMonitoring 2★
Samsung phones are perfectly focussed, and then it asks you to double-tap. It takes over your camera and loses focus. Everything goes blurry for the first few photos for some shots. It will then not allow you to retake the blurred angle. Spent about 40mins retaking and still getting blurring pucs because of this glitch. A video shoots at least 30 pics per second. Stop being cheap and make the switch for customers. Why not take aligner photos first then without aligners? - DentalMonitoring 2★
There are a few issues with the app, the first being the latest update causes crashes. My main issue is that it does not allow you to be logged in on multiple devices. The scanbox attachment is not compatible with my pixel 7 pro due to the orientation of the cameras on the pixel. So I am forced to use an old phone to scan. This creates issues when my dentists messages me and I am unable to log in or respond with out logging out of the scan phone first. - DentalMonitoring 2★
New update that 'detects' position and auto captures is so frustrating. Even more blurry pictures now. Made way more sense having timed captures so camera would be steady. When it works it's great but as others mentioned the adapter for phones isn't aligned to all camera lights. You'd think an app that is taking pictures inside your dark mouth would be better at auto contrast. Better than going to the ortho regularly but for how much you spend on Invisalign a poor UI with few features. - DentalMonitoring 2★
The AI hygiene and progress graphics shown to the orthodontist are not accessible to patients or parents. Data is collected and used in treatment decisions, yet there is no transparent access to these insights. While there is a messaging option, the quality of feedback depends on the clinic. Sharing core data in the app would make it a true collaborative digital health tool. - DentalMonitoring 2★
I've been using this app for a year and everything was great until the update...now you have to have the app open the entire time of uploading your scan and uploading takes FOREVER. Not to mention the notifications to scan don't work all the time. I turned in a scan three weeks late because I didn't get a reminder to scan until three weeks after I was supposed to. The scan itself isn't bad but the rest of it could use some work... - DentalMonitoring 2★
This is by far one of the worst apps I've ever used. The devs seemingly threw this thing together overnight originally and then the updates kept going back and forth with convenience. Directions seem to change every friggin week. Today it didn't even tell me to take my aligners off so I had to restart half way through. Leave it alone!!! I tried registering thru your browser and adding patients and setting appointments and it worked perfectly. But when I tried logging in via your app with the account I made thru the browser, it could not log in. I waited 24hrs just to give it time but to no avail. I then registered via your app (with the same email i typed in the browser) and I got in but all my patients and appointment schedules are not there. pls fix. PS: when i log into my account on chrome, data is still there - My Dental Clinic 2★
