- MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
Easy to use but the'Balance' title is confusing... It just sums up all the income and subtracts all the expenses... it shouldn't be so. If I indicated upon data entry that expense should be deducted from general budget, expenses should be deducted from general budget not from total income on the app... Except it wasn't made for such elaborate use. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
Like others have said, there is no recurring transaction option. What really bugs me, tho, is that if you make a credit card payment from your bank account, the payment is ADDED to your credit card balance (thus increasing it) rather than deducting the payment. If I pay $200 toward a $1000 credit card bill, the balance should decrease to $800, not increase to $1200. In order to correct the balance, it has to be manually changed. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
i love this app but only thing that's missing is cloud backup, sucks if phone suddenly broken and boom you lost your backup. manual backup sucks, not even premium version has it. which is kinda disappointing, would be great if it will have automatic backup - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
MyMoney features a unique, eye-catching UI that stands out. It’s great for basic tracking. Pros: Multiple accounts, CSV exporting, and backup/restore options included for free. Cons: Lack of a login/sync feature. Analysis is limited to monthly views, yearly is premium, and there’s no "all-time" overview. The budget tool is weak, credit cards aren't supported, and subcategories and import from csv not available. Good for simple needs, but too restrictive for power users. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
In the app you can set the initial amount of your different bank accounts. But when the app calculates the Remaining balance, it only calculates income and expenses, leaving the initial balance. I think the algorithm should include the initial amount in the balance. Otherwise there's no point in it. - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
It would be nice if we can link it to our email as a back up. Rather than having a back up file for which is not applicable in other phone or tablet unit. I wish there's an easy way to back up my record. I like the app. My only concern when I lose or change phone I can't have a back up file. Please have an email linked back up. I realized, is it also possible that there could be reminder for due date payments? To record it immediately after payment. I hope you can add that kind of feature. tnx - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
The app is really good and simple but I can only add today's expenses. I can go back to previous dates but when I add something it's recorded today. Is this a bug? - MyMoney—Track Expense & Budget 2★
Jan 2026. Testing this app as a replacement for Expense Manager by Money Tower, which is no longer supported. I like that MyMoney is offline, but it seems a bit immature. We shall see... Fast forward... May 3, 2026. Bought PRO, but it's a bust, two less stars. I was hoping for more organized data entry, the ability to enter recurring payments (income and expenses), and maybe a way to read data from cvs or excel files, but NOPE, it just isn't that mature! 😜 The hunt continues... 🎠 - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
Hi, I have subscribed your app, because it is functional and easy to use, but can you add font color? red for expenses, green for incomes, gray for transfer and other color for other functions. I think it won't be a big deal. it's fun and will help us read well, I guess many of us complaining the same. I am looking forward to your feedback. thanks. - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
Bad start: I had removed several categories, and when created and account, I add them all back. We also cannot edit the name of the existing categories nor use their icon with custom categories (to have an edit alternative). App just now polished enough. - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
Marketed as a financial planning tool with the ability to add recurring payments, however these dont populate in future months until that specific date. eg, I've added all recurring payments and salary and future months are still showing blank. You can set a budget but it doesn't interact with anything else, its just in the settings. I can do more with a spreadsheet than this app AND I paid for the pro version to find this out as it only let me add 3 items to recurring payments on free version - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
Good. but, sometimes, it doesnt update. total balance doesnt add upp to be quite right. Also, datewise, categorywise filter system should be introduced. - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
Thanks for your response. I understand it may not be automatic, but the issue happens repeatedly when I try to edit text in the middle of a note. The text gets fully selected even with normal taps, which makes editing difficult. I have tested this multiple times and it only happens in your app, not in others. So it might not be an input method issue. Please look into it again, as it affects usability a lot. I hope it gets fixed in future updates. - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
no idea why this is high rated. it's slow to add new items, recurring payments should show up on each month, if you want to PLAN your budget so it's pretty useless, gave 2 stars just for clean ui, directly uninstalled as some other comments said even google sheets would be a better alternative for my case - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
I cannot set regular payments in the shared cash book. I made the subscription to manage our family expenses but it doesn't make sense if I cannot make regular payments on the shared cash book :/ - Money Tracker-Expense & Budget 2★
Used to love this app, the new version is a terrible downgrade. Ads aside, doesn't show clearly the difference between income and expenses anymore, there's no way to import older data (I'd pay for that), the older icons and interface were cleaner. Currently looking for an alternative, very disappointed. - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
it's got potential, but not being able to create or organize categories is a huge issue. Transaction imports don't always import all the transactions. Transfer between banks causes imbalance in reconciliation customer service was good responding but can't wait a week to fix balances. web / app don't offer the same so stay in one to reconcile if you stay with it. I couldn't get it to reconcile (sync issues) so I gave up finally after 3 long weeks. went with beyond budget and had it in 3 days - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
I am annoyed at the fact that I don't have the option to choose other accounts to pay with when creating a record. It only lets me choose my cash account. I had to create a future payment for it to let me choose something else. I then had to open and close it for it to register. I don't always get an update from my bank so I have to input it manually which is also frustrating. The design though is simple and setup was easy. It also has several extra features that come with it for free. - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
Didn't even get far in using this app because you can't freely edit the pre-loaded main categories and subcategories. You can rename them, but you can't hide, add or remove any. You can only add sub-subcategories. What they have IS a good variety, but they don't fit my needs. I don't want a lot of generic items in my personal budget. Deal breaker for me. Updating my rating to 2 stars because the app was easy to use and has a clean interface. Sharing and emo index are excellent bonus features! - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
Bad at Linking accounts. Everytime I try to link my credit cards it says "Bank is not connected. Your bank may not be available right now." ???? it has happen with my Capital One, Gap and Victoria Secret Credit Cards. If I'm not able to link my account was the point. Also, for an app for which you pay I have never seen the loading take 5 min to link your account. I would like to get a refund but apparently I can't. - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
The restrictions on adding main categories is a silly limitation that no other budget app has. You can't even add sub-categories. You can edit the name of sub-categories but when you go to create a budget for that category the original name shows up. For example, I wanted to change "Lottery, gambling" to "Haircuts." The change was accepted but when I go to create a budget for "haircuts" "Lottery, gambling" still shows up. User choice is a hallmark of interface design, and is what's missing. - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
Currently, this app is missing two very important features that every user looks in an expense tracker app. Add new or modify existing categories or subcategories, Import historical data from other apps to any accounts (credit card, bank account, etc). I understand this app uses Machine Learning, you can have those cat/subcat fixed and allow to add additional. Also, it only allows to add sub-sub-categories not subcategories. Also It does import only to general accounts, not credit card acc etc - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
Very disappointed. Was looking for something to simply add my bills & dates & get reminders & and see how much my expenses come to, etc. Very frustrating to add a simple Bill as an expense. Has every descriptive option from fast food to pet stuff but not a category under financial expenses for "credit card". After adding all my planned expenses (bills) it doesn't even show a Total. All these graphs & charts but can't Add? - Money Manager Expense & Budget 2★
This is good in Iphone, but in android it is lacking many features. If you set a budget for any exp as zero and you have spend something under that exp category then in total spend the value will not get picked up, the line item will alao not reflect in the total page. like this there are other flaws the app is having. The same feature is there iphone version. - Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker 2★
This is my second attempt to the app. I tried to use it few years ago as well, but still it does not handle the transfers to mortgages/loans accounts in the way they would be reported as spending properly, even if I pay for premium. I need to choose between having loan balances correct or having stats including my mordgage/loan payments. The second issue is with sharing the app. We do have the group set up, but this works only on mobile phone not in web app. - Spending Tracker 2★
Had this for 3 or 4 years and it was amazing, I've been able to keep track of my finances and when I got married recently my husband got it as well. We both paid for the pro version and had backups and out of the blue a few weeks later, all the information except the names of my accounts are gone. The backups disappeared, I don't understand what happened. When I tried pressing the help button in the app it was completely unhelpful. This is so so disappointing and surprising. - Spending Tracker 2★
I had high hopes for this simple app. I need to sync my account across multiple devices, (including a Chromebook & 2 Chromeboxes (which use Google play/Android apps), 2 Android phones, and a Windows computer). The app description was clear that I'd need to purchase a separate upgrade for different operating systems, but it now seems I have to purchase an upgrade for each DEVICE. Very disappointing. World not have set it up at all had I known. - Spending Tracker 2★
The app is good in the fact that it is basically an electronic checkbook. There isn't anything in it that I can't live without. Don't believe I'll pay for it and look for another app... mostly because of the basic checkbook functionality and also forcing me to use an online source (dropbox) for backup. If there were local backup availability then I'd consider it. - Spending Tracker 2★
It works well enough, but if you select repeating transactions it will add the money before the date even arrives. It also does not have the pie chart that it used to have. I am assuming that's what you would get if you upgraded, but it does not say what you would get for the three plus dollar upgrade charge. At least you do not have to give any personal information or sign up for anything. Also I am not finding some features listed in the demo video, like all the charts mentioned. - Spending Tracker 2★
I have been using it for the last four years, its a nice app, Can you add a custom date filter in the show spending button at the top left corner, it already has daily, monthly, weekly, yearly, options, only you need to add a custom date option. Until then I'm reducing to 2 stars, then I will give a 5 star rating.
