I had the old version ( without long shot) for more than 4 years. It works just fine and I love it. So I decided to update the 2022 version. Nothing new (including the "long shot", so much for false advertising), yet it crashed my phone everytime I take a screenshot. Now that is new. I delete and reinstall many times, it s still the same. Waaaaay too hard to make the slightest adjustments to make it look decent. It offers simple lines, boxes & text. Basic to use features. Once you hit "done" with that markup forget about making even the slightest changes. Sometimes you want to move a text box with yellow background slightly to left or right, or make text bigger....nope. Have to start all over & get it exactly right the first try. I tried to like it. Too much redo for simple features I've used hundreds of times elsewhere. Sorry. Update & allow for edits & I could give it a solid 4, 4.5.... - ScreenMaster:Screenshot Markup 2★
the app is very good and usable until it changed abruptly. now, i can't take usual screenshots on YouTube or Discord without tapping onto a profile and changing the screen to another. If I want to screenshot a message, it'll just show me tapping on it and highlights the entire box. before it used to just scroll and screenshot without any problem. nowadays, i have to screenshot it in one shot and paste it all together. - ScreenMaster:Screenshot Markup 2★

WHY all a sudden do we have to click "Share screen with Screen Master?" EVERYTIME we try and take a screenshot?? Used to be I only had to do it once then the rest of the day the app would pop up for the screenshot I wanted. Kind of a pain, is there a plan to fix that? I've liked through the settings but did not see anything on things. This seemed to start on the last update. The App is bad, but so was Android. In the past, when you screenshot it, you double press the floating button and viola, screenshot saved as PNG. But then they changed it that there's a mandatory popup with your saved screenshot that can't be disabled; then Android got worse as well, and it sealed this app's fate right in the coffin. Everytime you use the button, Android would ask if you would like to Screen Record or Cast with this app, and apparently, this also can't be removed as well! Neat. - Screen Recorder - XRecorder 2★
I use this quite often. Despite the ads, which are very non-intrusive, it's very simple to use. However it's recently stopped recording audio. Was the Best of the Best. I'm still not able to pick up audio even if I have my own recording with sound from my phone's built in video recorder. I can record the visuals only , no audio regardless of what I do. This is a major problem. I paid for this app and may need to abandon ship. I've been using this app for nearly 7 years (since release) and it had worked perfectly. Now all of a sudden every app I try recording becomes a silent video... So every single app on my phone is blocking screen recording from some Android Policy? I don't quite believe that, but it's the only answer I'm finding online. don't get me wrong, it's a good app, and you can even edit your work there, which is awesome!!,, because most screen-recording apps don't offer that. 😓 the only issue i have, and the issue that really just makes me not wanna use it at all (i don't use it for this reason, actually), is the icon while you're screen-recording. i understand why it's there, but it bugs me, because there's option to get rid of it fully, so you just see this big orange icon on the bottom/top of your screen. - Screen Recorder - XRecorder 2★

Lately it's been very glitchy. The audio is either ahead or behind the video, it doesn't record what I wanted it to, and if you pause it the video sets itself at zero seconds no matter how long the actual length is for some reason. I really liked how there wasn't a tab on the side and you could just put it where u get notifications. But I rate it two stars because when you screen record, it records the audio that yours making irl you. For example, if I was screen recording a youtube video on my phone but as it's recording I'm watching a show on my TV, it picks up that too. This USE to be a 5 star app. But now it's just unreliable. In the past 6 months or so this app has taken a nosedive. I had it set up so that the recording icon fouls be hidden when I would start screen recording. For like a year I had almost no issues and loved it. But NOW when you try to screen record, there's a good chance that it won't record anything; or it'll just stop recording on its own without you even knowing it. Most times it doesn't screenshot on the first attempt, just lags. Next it screenshots but you only see a dark screen, not the thing on your screen you wanted to save. I thought this was a simple screen shot app. seems like they made it very complicated when you only want to record the screen when you are researching or need to prove or remember information. I should have read the reviews before downloading....I've never seen so many 1 star gradings from so many customers!!! GOOD NIGHT, WHY IS IT STILL AVAILABLE? AND HOW DID THEY GET A THE RATING THEY HAVE? I'm definitely deleting it because it bothers me when I don't understand how it works.
